Oh, man. Looking at this picspam made me miss this show! That's very hard to do, so kudos.

I've loved this show since I was a dorky little eleven year old who had no idea what forensics was about. They made me consider this line of work for a good two years, heh. Most of it had to do with Grissom, honestly. I love him so much. He's just so completely awesome - as a boss, as a scientist, as the most lovable dork ever. Such a wonderful character. William Petersen has done a marvelous job. My heart broke when I found out he was leaving. I can't quite imagine the show without him - for me, he has always been the backbone, the immovable center, the genius, the eye of the storm. He will be missed so much.

Wow, you summed up the way I feel about Grissom to the T. I remember watching it when I was nine but my mother never let me finish the episodes because it was always past my bedtime. Now, I watch it religiously, making up for all that lost time. To me, CSI's success is not based entirely being the first forensics show on TV (though it was a part of it), but due to William Petersen's mind-blowing acting.

Horatio and Mac can never hold a torch to what Grissom did, ever. :)

You started this off with Butterflied and my little fangirl heart just nearly flipped right out of my chest, because that is MY FAVORITE episode of CSI, EVER! For a lot of reasons, but mostly because of what Grissom has to say at the end, because you KNEW ANYONE KNEW that he wasn't just talking about the victim, but rather he was talking about himself and he was talking about Sara and it was just so real and I love his monolouge, the whole thing is so revealing. Could be the shipper inside of me, but still I love it because it was not just about her, but about him. That episode and William Peterson's performance throughout the entire hour, was completely amazing.

I'm so glad that someone has paused, to pay homage to Grissom and the fact that his final episode is coming up. I was wondering if they were just going to let him slip by, because for me - he was a large part of the reason that I tuned into it. I fell in love with his character, the amazing scientist that he was, the good friend, the mentor, and the man who loved/loves Sara. This man, is such an amazing, unstoppable, unmoveable force to be reckoned with. He is what CSI is all about, he is the backbone of it, he is the center of it, he is CSI. You can't have CSI, without Grissom. Mac and Horatio can try, but they will NEVER be Grissom.

Not to mention, this show is the very reason why I wanted to go into the forensic science program, which I have half started. I have two years behind me, who knows when I'll be able to finish due to personal things going on in my life at the moment not currently allowing me to finish what I've started, but because this show existed I decided that I wanted to have some part in this and Grissom had something to do with it. He is such a monumental character and I cannot tell you how overjoyed I am, that you actually took time to put this together and to pay tribute to such an amazing character.

I truly, I can't find anymore words, except to say: Well done! Very, very well done. ♥

Well, I've been scanning picspammy (the community) and noticed there is a severe lack of CSI there. CSI is probably the closest to perfection one can get to a series, and I was really disappointed no one did one on Grissom yet, so I decided to just do it myself. And I do agree with you, I watch the show for Grissom. He is just...mind-blowing.

I admire you for taking a course in forensic science, and I'm not surprised Grissom had a part in it :) Grissom is the reason I pay extra attention in Science class, he is the reason I read Shakespeare, he is the reason I think carefully before acting.

As for the process of making the picspam itself, I am very lucky to have a lot of spare time on my hands as it is my school holidays, and for two whole days, I shut myself in the room to complete this. It's the least I can do, really, for this character.
